Rules & Regulations
- Any budding filmmaker from and outside India is eligible to submit a film for this festival.
- Films completed between October 2025 till September 2026 are eligible for submission.
- The film can be in any language. But it must be properly subtitled in English.
- The two-day festival will screen only selected short films in each competition category.
- Animated short films will not be accepted.
- Short films created using generative AI tools (even partially) will not be accepted.
- A producer, screenplay writer, or
director can submit their film(s) to the festival. One applicant
cannot submit more than two entries.
- Films from India: INR 400 (plus FilmFreeway fees. non-refundable) for one entry
- Films from outside India: INR 1000 +(plus FilmFreeway fees. non-refundable) for one entry
- The decision of the selectors and the jury will be final. It cannot be challenged by the makers. The festival reserves the right to change/ modify any guidelines according to the situation.
- Only the applicants of the shortlisted films will be notified via email. Additional submission material will be communicated to them at the time of notification if any.
- Any two crew members including the director of the shortlisted films will be provided with accommodation and food facilities by the festival. However, the travel and other expenses will be borne by the makers themselves.
- Once a film is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn.
- Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
- All the films selected for the festival should use the festival logo in the beginning of their films for later screenings. The logo will be provided by the festival.

Technical Requirements
- The uploaded film should be in MP4 Full HD (Resolution 1920 × 1080p) with stereo sound. No other formats will be accepted.
- In case any technical glitch happens in your film and it does not get played during the selection process,the SFF organisers will not ask you for a re-submission, neither will they contact you regarding it. It will be the filmmaker’s responsibility to upload a glitch-free movie.
